On Friday 5th August, as a result of a partnership between Lendlease, the GPT Group and Rouse Hill High School, Year 7 students from the school planted about 500 native trees along the nature corridor at Caddies Creek. The students have been undertaking a site survey of the area for their Geography unit. Troy Daly, Environmental Sustainability Manager for The New Rouse Hill explained that the trees were native species to the Sydney Coastal Woodland, an endangered ecological community.
