Over 200 children and their parents converged on The New Rouse Hill Sales & Information Centre to get up close and personal with an array of live reptiles and other Australian animals at our Reptile Encounters Summer Buzz Event held on Thursday 20th January.Anthony Stimson from Australian Wildlife Displays had the children enthralled as they heard about some of our unique Australian animals, which included a Tawny Frogmouth (not an owl!) and a baby possum. They learnt a little about the green tree frog and watched him have his lunch!The children also got the chance to hold both a baby crocodile and a rather large python. The pictures below indicate the fun time some of the children had meeting these rather active reptiles.
