A dedicated team of residents has reaped the benefits of their hard work over the last three months with a bountiful harvest of vegetables and herbs from the community garden beds. The success of the garden beds has provided residents with not only fresh vegetables but a sense of community. They meet on a fortnightly basis to tend to the gardens, catch up and swap recipes.
A big thank you goes out to all those involved who have made the community garden such a success and fostered a fantastic community spirit.
If you are interested in joining the garden group they meet at 4pm on the first and third Sunday of each month at the community pavillion, cnr Bellcast and Freshwater Road Rouse Hill.
