ITS OPEN - Mungerie House Residents Community Facilities

Mungerie House Community Facilities were launched to owners and residents at The New Rouse Hill on Sunday 28 June 2009.

Completion of the exclusive Community Facilities at Mungerie House, including the Tennis Court, Mixed Use Court, Gym, Community Garden, Swimming Pool and recreation area with BBQ and Community Pavilion was celebrated at the launch on Sunday 28 June.

A turn out of approximately 200 New Rouse Hill owners, residents and their families enjoyed roving music while enjoying lunch in the sunshine, while kids enjoyed face painting, demonstrations and a jumping castle.

Formalities commenced with The Hills Shire Council Mayor Larry Bolitho officially opening the facility to the residents, and New Rouse Hill Project Director Arthur Ilias welcoming residents to their new community, and encouraging them to get involved in initiatives like Neighbourhood Watch and Maintaining the new Community Garden.

Owners are invited to collect their security swipes and key from the Sales and Information Centre, located at 12 Bellcast Road, Rouse Hill. For more information, and bookings please contact reception on T: 1800 200 902.

Thank you to Simon Lyons who kindly provided photographs which he took at the event, you can view these in the image gallery below (there is even a great shot of the very protective bird which was protecting its nearby nest at the launch) Thanks Simon!
