Council invites you to be part of an exciting new project to survey wildlife across The Hills Shire

This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to see some of the more elusive wildlife in the Shire or learn how to survey for plants and animals, all whilst playing a role in helping to protect our unique biodiversity.

Some of the projects proposed include plant, koala and bird surveys, microbat surveys and live animal trapping.  Whether you are interested in a relaxing bushwalk or having the gum-boots ready for night trapping, there is an activity for you.  You will be given training in survey techniques and provided with the necessary equipment and protective gear.
